Establishing Connection

Our Story

Born at the front desk to make hospitality feel like hospitality again.

"Honne was born at the front desk. We were hoteliers tired of the noise, the clunky interfaces, and the barriers between us and our guests."

We spent years navigating systems that felt like they were designed by people who had never stood behind a reception desk. Every click was a distraction, every loading screen a wall between us and the human being standing in front of us.

We decided to build a flow that prioritises genuine connection over administrative friction. Hospitality isn't about data entry; it's about the warmth of a welcome, the anticipation of a need, and the ease of a stay.

What is 'Honne'?

Honne (本音)

Refers to a person's true feelings and desires. These are often kept hidden except with one's closest confidants. It is the authentic self, the genuine emotion beneath the surface.

Tatemae (建前)

The "facade"—the behaviours and opinions one displays in public, according to what is socially accepted or expected.

To us, Honne represents a philosophy of being authentic and transparent, delivering hospitality that feels both genuine and effortless.
